This badass lady is my grandfather’s aunt, Adalgisa Gallo. She was one of the first women to graduate from the University of Rome in the 1900’s-1910’s, and had her thesis of the ruins of Amiternum published. Also, as you can see, she had a great fashion sense. But sadly she died young, not too long after graduating.
Badassery runs in the family.
